L'Art Déco par KAMI

Encore une belle découverte lors du salon du prêt-à-porter d'automne/hiver 2011, une collection organique crée par KAMI, qui a du respect d'environnement et de la créativité en même temps, ce qui est très rare pour le salon So Ethic. Les matiéres utilisées sont le coton,la laine bio, le polyéstère recyclé et la soie bio...La collection est beaucoup inspirée par L'Art Déco, connu pour sa simplicité et la géometrie.
 Il y a beaucoup de lignes droites et les formes épurées, et les jeux de textures: mélange de la laine, soie à la maille et au cuir. Ce qui nous a plu énormément c'est la gamme de couleurs qui est très chaude et très typique de cette saison: noir, marine, gris orage et mastic s'opposent au terre de sienne, camel, chair et orange.


Another surprising brand that we've found out during the fashion show "Prêt-à-porter" was KAMI with its organic collection for autumn/winter 2011. There's the respect for the environment and the creativity at the same time, and that's actually quite an uncommon thing to see at the So-Ethic show. The collection is composed of organic cotton and wool, recycled polyester and organic silk...The garments are mostly inspired by the Art Déco mouvement famous for its simplicity and geometry.
We see a lot of straight lines and pure forms, the texture effects like the mix of wool, silk with knitwear and leather. The thing that we liked the most was the colour range that is very warm et typical of this season's trends: black, navy, charcoal and mastic confront the terracotta, camel, nude and orange.
